Job summary

Lou Fusz Kia in Terre Haute is seeking an Automotive Detailer / Car Washer / Lot Attendant to keep our vehicle inventory pristine and ready for customers. You will support sales and service by keeping cars clean, fueled, and mobile on the lot, showroom, and off-site storage as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles preferred.

• Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive, park, and arrange inventory on the lot and showroom.
• Wash, vacuum, and detail vehicles for presentation.
• Check fluids, tires, and fuel; transport vehicles locally.
• Assist sales by retrieving vehicles for test drives and prepping sold cars.
• Keep the lot and grounds clean and safe.

Automotive Detailer / Car Washer / Lot Attendant

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and energetic Automotive Dealership Porter to join our team here at Lou Fusz Kia in Terre Haute. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the physical appearance and organization of our vehicle inventory, supporting the sales and service departments, and ensuring that vehicles are clean, fueled, and ready for customer presentation or delivery.

What You'll Do

• Key Responsibilities Safely drive, park, and arrange new and pre-owned vehicle inventory on the dealership lot and showroom.
• Wash, vacuum, and detail vehicles to maintain a professional presentation for buyers.
• Check and maintain fluid levels, tire pressure, and fuel levels in inventory vehicles. Transport vehicles between the dealership, off-site storage, and local service or body shops.
• Assist the sales team by retrieving vehicles for customer test drives and preparing sold cars for delivery. Assist the service department by moving customer cars to and from service bays.
• Keep the lot, customer parking areas, and dealership grounds clean, clear, and safe from debris or hazards.
• Run local errands for the parts department or other staff as needed.
