Coast Auto in Port Richey, FL is seeking an experienced Automotive Controller to oversee the financial operations of two high-performing dealerships: Coast Buick GMC Cadillac and Coast Mazda.

The role reports to the General Manager and focuses on ensuring financial health, compliance with policies, and operational success. The successful candidate will lead accounting staff and drive profitability in a family-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of full-cycle accounting experience in a senior role, preferably automotive dealerships.
• Proven leadership in developing accounting staff and managing multiple projects.

Responsabilités

• Prepare monthly financial statements per group guidelines and OEM standards.
• Support departments to maximize revenue and control expenses.
• Oversee tax reporting, receivables, and bank reconciliations.
• Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Recruit and mentor accounting staff and ensure accurate postings.
