Job summary

Carolina Auto Auction in Williamston, SC seeks an energetic, detail-oriented associate to prepare condition reports for incoming vehicles. You will verify VINs, document damages, inspect equipment, and conduct test drives as needed.

The role requires a valid driver's license and the ability to work outside during standard hours; benefits include health, dental, vision, life, 401(k), paid time off, and on-the-job training.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Detail-oriented with ability to accurately assess vehicle condition.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Verify vehicle identification (VIN) and update vehicle information (Year, Make, Model, Trim).
• Inspect vehicle equipment, options, interior, tires, and mechanical components.
• Conduct test-drives and document mechanical issues; estimate vehicle damages.
• Review odometer information and assess frame condition and unibody/frame damages.
• Assess overall mechanical condition and document issues found during the condition report process.
• Work schedule: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm or 4-10 hours days; outside work as needed.
