Job summary

Cad Engineering Resources Inc. is seeking an experienced CMM technician in Detroit to program CMMs in PC-DMIS from engineering blueprints using GD&T aligned to ANSI 14.5.

You will conduct direct-drive CMM layouts for automotive parts, fixtures, and jigs, and operate several metrology devices to meet deadlines. Qualifications include TS16949/ISO-14001 awareness, bench layout, Gage R&R, SPC, and strong blueprint reading.

Qualifications

• Understanding of TS16949 and ISO-14001 procedures; safety training completed.
• Bench layout, GD&T, blueprint reading, SPC, Gage R&R, visual defects & audits, work instructions/standards, quality check sheets, scrap reporting.

Responsibilities

• Program CMMs in PC-DMIS from blueprints with GD&T aligned to ANSI 14.5.
• Perform direct-drive CMM and bench layouts for parts, fixtures, and jigs.
• Operate multiple metrology devices to meet deadlines.
• Conduct capability studies and communicate findings clearly.
