Jiffy Lube is hiring for an Automotive Cashier/Greeter/Service Tech in Joliet, IL. You will welcome customers, answer phones, review invoices, process payments, and explain recommended services. Training is provided and opportunities for advancement exist.

The role emphasizes customer service in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Prior cashier or counter sales experience in automotive settings is preferred, with a flexible schedule and potential for growth into technician or customer

• Previous experience preferred with a minimum of 1-year automotive cashier or counter sales

Responsibilities

• Answer the phone in a friendly manner
• Greet guests on arrival and assist with questions or concerns
• Review guests’ invoice and explain services performed
• Process payments by cash or credit for repairs and services
• Explain technicians’ recommendations and repairs
• Handle clerical duties including receiving inventory, transfers, and data entry
• Assist technicians with customer greetings and vehicle courtesy’s

Job Duties Include, but are not limited to…:

• Answering the phone with a friendly and pleasant manner
• Greeting guests on arrival and offering assistance with questions or concerns
• Reviewing guests’ invoice and providing an explanation for services performed
• Tendering payments by cash or credit for repairs, parts, and other services
• Explaining technicians’ recommendations, repairs, and other actions
• Clerical duties receiving inventory, transfers, supplies, and data entry
• Assisting technicians with customer greetings and vehicle courtesy’s

Once certified, you will have opportunities for advancement and training in other positions like Lube Technician or Customer Service Advisor.
