Job summary

Phantom AI in Mountain View, CA is seeking a Camera ISP/Driver Engineer to tune and test automotive image sensors for ADAS. You will characterize optics and imaging, define requirements, and implement them through CMOS control and ISP tuning, working with DL, Vision, and Systems teams.

You will gain hands-on experience across optics, image sensors, ISP, drivers, and systems, with exposure to mass-production processes at global OEMs, and you will collaborate closely with partners and vendors to

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Physics, Optics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Foundational understanding of image quality concepts.
• Working proficiency in C/C++.
• Working proficiency in Python for scripting and data analysis.
• Familiarity with collaboration tools such as Git and Jira.
• Strong quantitative analysis, documentation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Tune ISPs and CMOS sensors against defined requirements.
• Build and evolve pipelines for image quality evaluation and tuning.
• Develop drivers and firmware for CMOS and ISP control.
• Run image quality tests, analyze results, and drive improvements.
• Capture camera and ISP requirements with partners and translate into specs.
