Job summary

SynthBee, Inc. is seeking a CAD Architect Engineer (CAE)/FEA Engineer, Forward Deployment Engineer for the automotive sector. You will be the physical conscience behind deployment, validating simulations and aligning designs with real-world manufacturing constraints.

Lead CAE strategy, ensure manufacturability, and translate complex mechanical trade-offs for clients while supporting V&V activities across projects. Role is full-time and client-facing with travel expectations.

Qualifications

• Mastery of structural analysis and simulation-driven design; interpret FEA results in ANSA, Abaqus, Ansys, or NASTRAN.
• Proven track record validating digital twin/CAE models against physical test data.
• Diagnose and resolve vehicle NVH issues with FE structures and manufacturability considerations.
• Technical liaison to communicate mechanical trade-offs to executives and software developers.
• Elicit and define testable mechanical requirements from PRD through V&V reports.
• Hands-on experience designing for and simulating high-speed machining, sheet metal, injection molding, or additive manufacturing.
• Participation in development and execution of V&V strategies with rigorous testing documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide the domain expertise to ensure SynthBee’s agentic systems produce designs that are physically viable.
• Guide client stakeholders on how to integrate SynthBee’s output into their existing simulation pipelines, ensuring mesh integrity and boundary condition accuracy.
• Review generated geometry to ensure compatibility with machining tool-paths, mold draft angles, or sheet metal bend radii.
• Act as the “translator” between SynthBee’s Software/ML teams and the client’s mechanical engineering, design, and product teams.
• Utilize engineering fundamentals to troubleshoot system-level failures in the field, bridging digital predictions and physical hardware outcomes.
