Job summary

Reynolds and Reynolds is seeking experienced automotive professionals to join our consulting team. The Automotive Business Consultant will build professional relationships with dealerships, identify bottlenecks, and apply proven consulting programs to improve efficiency and profitability.

This role involves extensive travel, with overnight stays up to five nights per week, and a comprehensive 90-day training period.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• 5+ years of automotive dealership experience (Office Manager, controller in automotive accounting, AP/AR Accounting Representative).
• Must be willing to travel extensively with overnight hotel stays up to 5 nights per week (every week).
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license, with few moving violations and no recent DUI/DWI violations.

Responsibilities

• Establish professional relationships with customers and help their businesses become more efficient, effective, and profitable.
• Work with dealership personnel to identify trouble areas and apply consulting services programs and industry knowledge to solve issues.
• Follow up with customers after projects to maintain relationships and provide ongoing fee-for-service support and problem resolution.
• Help customers become successful in various dealership areas to drive consulting services sales.
