  • Diagnose and repair minor to major collision damage.
  • Perform structural and non-structural body repairs as required.
  • Remove, replace, repair, and align damaged body panels, doors, fenders, bumpers, hoods, quarter panels, and related components.
  • Perform vehicle disassembly and reassembly while properly documenting and organizing parts.
  • Perform frame and unibody repairs and measurements as required.
  • Ensure proper panel alignment, body lines, gaps, and overall fit and finish.
  • Perform body filler, sanding, priming, masking, and surface preparation.
  • Repair and prepare surfaces for refinishing.
  • Perform automotive painting and refinishing when needed, including spot repairs, blends, panel refinishing, base coat, and clear coat application.
  • Mix and match automotive paint according to color specifications and required finish standards.
  • Operate body repair and refinishing equipment safely and effectively.
  • Inspect repairs throughout the repair process to identify imperfections and ensure quality results.
  • Perform finish correction and address body or paint defects as needed.
  • Maintain consistent production quality while meeting daily vehicle turnaround and throughput expectations.
  • Work efficiently in a high-volume, production-driven environment without sacrificing workmanship.
  • Properly clean, maintain, and organize tools, equipment, and work areas.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and applicable environmental guidelines.
  • Communicate vehicle, parts, equipment, material, or workflow issues to management.
  • Assist other technicians and team members as needed to maintain production workflow.
  • Ensure completed vehicles meet company and dealership standards before moving to the next stage of the reconditioning process.
Minimum Qualifications / Must-Haves
  • 3+ years of professional automotive body repair or collision repair experience.
  • Previous experience in a dealership, collision repair facility, body shop, or automotive reconditioning center.
  • Proven ability to independently perform automotive body repairs.
  • Strong knowledge of collision repair procedures and body repair techniques.
  • Experience with panel replacement, body alignment, sanding, filling, priming, and surface preparation.
  • Ability to properly assess vehicle damage and determine appropriate repair procedures.

  • Ability to consistently meet daily production and vehicle turnaround goals without sacrificing quality.
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in quality craftsmanship.
  • Ability to inspect completed repairs and identify imperfections.
  • Strong understanding of automotive repair safety procedures and proper equipment operation.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment.
  • Painting/refinishing experience is strongly preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
