Kyyba is seeking a Design & Release Engineer – Body in Dearborn, MI, hybrid work model. You will support design, validation, and release of automotive interior/exterior body components, coordinating with design, studio, engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers. CATIA/UG-NX proficiency and DFMEA experience are essential.

This role focuses on ensuring manufacturable designs, engineering sign-offs, and program milestone adherence throughout the vehicle development lifecycle.

Competenze

• Experience in automotive Design & Release Engineering, preferably Interior or Exterior Body components.
• Hands-on experience with CATIA or UG/NX for 3D modeling, CAD reviews, measurements, drawings, and evaluation.
• Strong understanding of GD&T, engineering drawings, packaging and functional requirements.
• Experience with DFMEA and design validation activities.
• Experience working with automotive suppliers to resolve technical issues.

Mansioni

• Lead and facilitate DFMEA activities with cross-functional teams.
• Review designs against rules, standards, specs, and program requirements; drive deviations to resolution.
• Support design and engineering execution of Interior and Exterior Body components.
• Translate styling surfaces into manufacturable, releasable designs with Design teams.
• Use CATIA or UG/NX to review models/drawings and identify interference or clearance issues.
• Develop and maintain 3D component designs considering packaging, interfaces, and manufacturing.
