Job summary

Scranton Chevrolet of Norwich in Norwich, CT is hiring a Business Development Representative (BDC) to join our team. This full-time, on-site role starts with warm outreach, answering inquiries, and scheduling showroom appointments.

No automotive experience is required—training is provided. You’ll focus on first conversations, build trust, and help customers take the next step, with call center or high-volume phone experience as a plus and bilingual skills as a bonus.

Qualifications

• Must enjoy talking with customers and be highly responsive.
• Willingness to learn dealership systems and processes.
• Ability to manage multiple conversations and tasks daily.
• Fluency in additional languages is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to customer inquiries by phone, text, and email
• Answer initial questions and help customers understand their next steps
• Schedule and confirm showroom appointments
• Follow up with customers who have expressed interest in a vehicle
• Reconnect with customers who are still considering their options
• Contact customers approaching the end of a vehicle lease
• Keep customer records and follow-up notes accurate in our CRM
• Share appointment details with the sales team
• Work toward appointment and customer service goals while making every interaction feel personal
