Job summary

EmployBridge is hiring Assemblers for automotive type manufacturing in Penn Yan, NY. The role involves electronic device installation, assembling components with electrical systems, and reading blueprints. You will use hand and power tools, perform quality checks, and troubleshoot issues to ensure proper operation.

The position offers a Monday–Friday first shift with a strong starting rate and opportunities to increase, plus weekly pay and generous benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience with auto electronics or mechanics desirable.
• Ability to read blueprints, work orders and assembly instructions.
• Capable of performing quality checks for accuracy and function.
• Willingness to troubleshoot during the build process.

Responsibilities

• Install electronic devices such as lights and radios.
• Assemble components including electrical systems and suspensions.
• Read and follow blueprints and assembly instructions.
• Perform quality checks on installed parts.
• Use hand tools, power tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Connect and test wiring and onboard electronics.
• Troubleshoot issues during assembly and report defects.
• Record work performed and report delays to supervisors.

Hiring Assemblers for Automotive type Manufacturing in Penn Yan, NY

Previous experience working with auto electronics/mechanics and similar roles or construction experience highly desirable.

Strong starting rate $21 plus opportunities to increase

Great schedule - Monday - Friday, 1st shift, 6am-2:30pm

(Family friendly schedule)

Job Duties:

• Electronic device installation - i.e. lights, air conditioners, radio/stereo systems, heating systems etc.
• Assemble bus components including electrical systems, brake lines, suspension, and the like
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and assembly instructions
• Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy, alignment, and functional operation of installed parts
• Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment to complete assembly and repair tasks
• Connect and test electrical wiring, lighting systems, and onboard electronics
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical or technical issues during the build process
• Record work performed and report any defects or delays to supervisors
