Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices in Hyde Park, NY is hiring a full-time Automotive Alignment Technician. You will use the latest equipment to align tires and wheels, measuring camber, caster, toe and thrust angles to ensure safe, straight travel.

The role includes state inspections, oil and filter changes, flat repairs, and other maintenance tasks. Candidates should be at least 18, legally authorized to work in the United States, with 1 year of tire service experience; state inspection

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Possess 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires.
• State inspection license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Align tires and wheels using the latest equipment to adjust camber, caster, toe and thrust angles.
• Perform state-mandated inspections, oil and filter changes and flat repairs.
• Complete other required automotive maintenance and repairs as needed.

We're looking for a full-time Automotive Alignment Technicians to join Team Mavis at one of our state-of-the-art automotive service, repair and tire sales centers in the Hyde Park, NY area. About the Position of Automotive Alignment Technician

Automotive Alignment technicians use the latest equipment to align newly-mounted tires and wheels on customer's vehicles. By measuring and adjusting caster, camber, toe and thrust angles, our Automotive Alignment Technicians reduce customer's tire wear and ensure serviced vehicles travel straight and true. Mavis's Alignment Technicians also complete state-mandated inspections, oil and filter changes and flat repairs, and perform any other required automotive service or vehicle repairs to customer vehicles.

Qualifications

1. Be at least 18 years of age
2. Be legally authorized to work in the United States
3. Possess 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires or any combination of education, training and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.

In addition, it is preferred that Alignment Technicians possess a state inspection license.

As an active position, Automotive Alignment Technicians are required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach and perform repeated and repetitive movements consistent with vehicle and tire maintenance and repair. Alignment Technicians must regularly lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds.
