Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices in Pensacola, FL is hiring a full-time Automotive Alignment Technician. You will use advanced alignment equipment to measure and adjust caster, camber, toe and thrust angles, help ensure tires wear evenly and vehicles drive straight.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• 1 year of experience and/or training in mounting, dismounting, rotating and balancing tires or equivalent.
• Preferred state inspection license.

Responsibilities

• Operate advanced alignment equipment to measure and adjust caster, camber, toe and thrust angles.
• Perform alignment to reduce tire wear and ensure straight tracking.
• Complete state inspections, oil and filter changes and basic vehicle repairs as required.

We are looking for a full-time Automotive Alignment Technicians to join Team Mavis at one of our state-of-the-art automotive service, repair and tire sales centers in the Pensacola, FL area. With over 4000 retail locations, Mavis is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States.

About the Position of Automotive Alignment Technician

Automotive Alignment technicians use the latest equipment to align newly-mounted tires and wheels on customers vehicles. By measuring and adjusting caster, camber, toe and thrust angles, our Automotive Alignment Technicians reduce customers tire wear and ensure serviced vehicles travel straight and true. Mavis's Alignment Technicians also complete state-mandated inspections, oil and filter changes and flat repairs, and perform any other required automotive service or vehicle repairs to customer vehicles.

Qualifications

• (1) be at least 18 years of age;
• (2) be legally authorized to work in the United States;
• (3) possess 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires or any combination of education, training and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
• It is preferred that Alignment Technicians possess a state inspection license.

As an active position, Automotive Alignment Technicians are required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach and perform repeated and repetitive movements consistent with vehicle and tire maintenance and repair. Alignment Technicians must regularly lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds.
