Job summary

Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is seeking a full-time Automotive Alignment Technician in the Little River, SC area. You will use modern equipment to align tires and wheels, measuring caster, camber, toe and thrust angles to ensure smooth travel and reduced wear.

Responsibilities include completing state-mandated inspections, oil changes, and repairs, with chances for training and career advancement in a busy automotive service center.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires.
• Preferred state inspection license.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach and lift over 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Align tires and wheels using the latest equipment to measure caster, camber, toe and thrust angles.
• Reduce tire wear and ensure serviced vehicles travel straight and true.
• Complete state-m mandated inspections, oil and filter changes, and flat repairs.
• Perform any other required automotive service or vehicle repairs to customers' vehicles.

We're looking for a full-time Automotive Alignment Technicians to join Team Mavis at one of our state-of-the-art automotive service, repair and tire sales centres in the Little River, SC area. About the Position of Automotive Alignment Technician

Automotive Alignment technicians use the latest equipment to align newly-mounted tires and wheels on customer's vehicles. By measuring and adjusting caster, camber, toe and thrust angles, our Automotive Alignment Technicians reduce customer's tire wear and ensure serviced vehicles travel straight and true. Mavis's Alignment Technicians also complete state‑mandated inspections, oil and filter changes and flat repairs, and perform any other required automotive service or vehicle repairs to customer vehicles.

Qualifications

To be eligible for the position of Automotive Alignment Technicians you must (1) be at least 18 years of age; (2) be legally authorized to work in the United States; and (3) possess 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires or any combination of education, training and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position. In addition, it is preferred that Alignment Technicians possess a state inspection license.

As an active position, Automotive Alignment Technicians are required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach and perform repeated and repetitive movements consistent with vehicle and tire maintenance and repair. Alignment Technicians must regularly lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds.
