Job summary

Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is seeking a full‑time Automotive Alignment Technician for a center in the Ewing Township, NJ area. You will align tires and wheels, measure caster/camber/toe/thrust, and perform inspections, oil changes and repairs to ensure safe, smooth driving.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Minimum 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Preferred: State inspection license.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach and perform repeated movements consistent with vehicle and tire maintenance. Must regularly lift or move items weighing over 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Align newly mounted tires and wheels using the latest equipment and adjust caster, camber, toe and thrust angles to reduce tire wear and ensure vechicles travel straight and true.
• Complete state‑mandated inspections, oil and filter changes, flat repairs and perform other required automotive service or vehicle repair.

About the Position

Automotive Alignment Technicians use the latest equipment to align newly‑mounted tires and wheels on customer vehicles. By measuring and adjusting caster, camber, toe and thrust angles, our technicians reduce tire wear and ensure vehicles travel straight and true. Technicians also complete state‑mandated inspections, oil and filter changes, flat repairs and perform any other required automotive service or vehicle repair.
