Job summary

Jack Williams & Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is seeking a full-time Automotive Alignment Technician in the Moosic, PA area. You will use advanced equipment to align tires and wheels, inspect vehicles, and perform required maintenance services to ensure safe handling and performance.

The position requires at least 18 years old, US work authorization, and about 1 year of relevant experience or training.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• 1 year of experience and/or training in mounting, dismounting, balancing tires and related duties.
• State inspection license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform alignments using the latest equipment to ensure proper caster, camber, toe and thrust angles.
• Carry out tire mounting, balancing, rotation and related vehicle maintenance tasks.
• Assist with state inspections, oil and filter changes, and minor repairs as needed.

We're looking for full-time Automotive Alignment Technicians to join Team Mavis at one of our state-of-the-art automotive service, repair and tire sales centers in the Moosic, PA area. With over 2,000 retail locations, Mavis is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States.

About the Position of Automotive Alignment Technician

Automotive Alignment technicians use the latest equipment to align newly-mounted tires and wheels on customer's vehicles. By measuring and adjusting caster, camber, toe and thrust angles, our Automotive Alignment Technicians reduce customer tire wear and ensure serviced vehicles travel straight and true. Mavis's Alignment Technicians also complete state-mandated inspections, oil and filter changes and flat repairs, and perform any other required automotive service or vehicle repairs to customer vehicles.

Qualifications

To be eligible for the position of Automotive Alignment Technician you must (1) be at least 18 years of age; (2) be legally authorized to work in the United States; and (3) possess 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires or any combination of education, training and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position. In addition, it is preferred that Automotive Alignment Technicians possess a state inspection license.

As an active position, Automotive Alignment Technicians are required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach and perform repeated and repetitive movements consistent with vehicle and tire maintenance and repair. Alignment Technicians must regularly lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds.
