Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is hiring full-time Automotive Alignment Technicians in the Washington area. You will align tires, measure angles and ensure vehicles travel straight. The role includes inspections, oil changes and basic repairs as part of a full automotive service offering.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Requires 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires.
• State inspection license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Use equipment to align tires and wheels, measuring caster, camber, toe and thrust angles.
• Perform oil and filter changes and basic vehicle repairs as needed.
• Complete required state inspections and routine maintenance tasks.
• Other automotive service duties as assigned to ensure customer satisfaction.

We're looking for a full-time Automotive Alignment Technicians to join Team Mavis at one of our state-of-the-art automotive service, repair and tire sales centers in the Washington, NJ area. About the Position of Automotive Alignment Technician

Automotive Alignment technicians use the latest equipment to align newly-mounted tires and wheels on customer's vehicles. By measuring and adjusting caster, camber, toe and thrust angles, our Automotive Alignment Technicians reduce customer's tire wear and ensure serviced vehicles travel straight and true. Mavis's Alignment Technicians also complete state-mandated inspections, oil and filter changes and flat repairs, and perform any other required automotive service or vehicle repairs to customer vehicles.

Qualifications

To be eligible for the position of Automotive Alignment Technicians you must (1) be at least 18 years of age; (2) be legally authorized to work in the United States; and (3) possess 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires or any combination of education, training and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position. In addition, it is preferred that Alignment Technicians possess a state inspection license.

As an active position, Automotive Alignment Technicians are required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach and perform repeated and repetitive movements consistent with vehicle and tire maintenance and repair. Alignment Technicians must regularly lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds.
