Job summary

MavisTire is seeking a full-time Automotive Alignment Technician to work in Illinois. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in tire services, able to perform tasks such as aligning tires, completing inspections, and making necessary vehicle repairs. We're looking for a full-time Automotive Alignment Technician to join Team Mavis at one of our state-of-the-art automotive service, repair and tire sales centers in the McDonough, GA area. With over 2,000 retail locations, Mavis is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Automotive Alignment technicians use the latest equipment to align newly-mounted tires and wheels on customers' vehicles.
• Measure and adjust caster, camber, toe and thrust angles to reduce tire wear and ensure vehicles travel straight and true.
• Complete state-mandated inspections, oil and filter changes and flat tire repairs, and perform other required automotive service or vehicle repairs.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Possess 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires or equivalent education/training that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties
• It is preferred that Alignment Technicians possess a state inspection license

Physical Requirements

• Stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach and perform repetitive movements associated with vehicle and tire maintenance
• Regularly lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds
