Job summary

Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is seeking an Automotive Alignment Technician to join our Waxahachie-area team. The role involves aligning tires and wheels using up-to-date equipment, plus performing inspections, oil changes and basic repairs as needed. Team members enjoy a supportive shop environment and ongoing training.

This full-time position requires physical work including standing and lifting, with opportunities for advancement and competitive weekly pay including incentives.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Has 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires or equivalent education/training

Responsibilities

• Use the latest equipment to align tires and wheels, measuring and adjusting caster, camber, toe and thrust angles to reduce tire wear and ensure the vehicle travels straight.
• Perform state-mmandated inspections, oil and filter changes and flat repairs as needed; complete other required automotive service or vehicle repairs.
• Stand, walk and lift items over 50 pounds as part of daily duties; work in a dynamic shop environment.
