Job summary

Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is seeking a full-time Automotive Alignment Technician for our center in the Chambersburg, PA area. You will use advanced equipment to align tires, measure and adjust angles, and help ensure vehicles travel straight and true.

Responsibilities include inspections, oil/filter changes, and related automotive services. On-the-job training is provided; opportunities for career growth exist within a large national chain.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Must have 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires or equivalent education/training.
• Preferred: state inspection license.

Responsibilities

• Operate and calibrate alignment equipment to adjust caster, camber, toe and thrust angles.
• Perform tire mounting/balance, oil and filter changes, and basic vehicle services as required.
• Complete state inspections and other automotive repairs as needed.
