Job summary

Mavis Tire is seeking a full-time Automotive Alignment Technician for our center in the Ypsilanti, MI area. You will use advanced equipment to align newly mounted tires and wheels, measuring and adjusting caster, camber, toe and thrust angles to ensure vehicles travel straight and true.

Responsibilities include state inspections, oil/filter changes, and flat repairs, with on-the-job training and opportunities for career advancement within the Mavis Tire Family.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Possess 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires or equivalent education.
• Preferably possess a state inspection license.

Responsibilities

• Use latest equipment to align tires and wheels on customers' vehicles.
• Measure and adjust caster, camber, toe and thrust angles.
• Perform state-mandated inspections, oil and filter changes, flat repairs and other required services.

Skills

18 years or older

Legally authorized to work in the US

1 year tire service experience
