Job summary

Delaney Tire & Auto is seeking an experienced A-Level Automotive Technician to join our growing team in Wilmington, NC. You will diagnose and repair complex vehicle problems, produce quality work, and support developing less-experienced technicians.

You will handle engine, transmission, steering, suspension, brakes, HVAC, and drivability repairs, while maintaining accurate documentation and safety standards in a fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

  • At least five years of professional automotive repair experience preferred.
  • Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting abilities.
  • Ability to perform advanced mechanical repairs.
  • Comfortable working on a wide range of makes and models.
  • Must own the tools necessary for the position.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Dependable attendance and professional attitude.
  • ASE certifications are preferred.
  • State inspection license is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical problems.

  • Assist and mentor B- and C-level technicians when needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
