Job summary

The Boyd Group is seeking an Automotive ADAS Technician in Maryland to perform testing, calibrations, repairs and invoicing. You will interact with customers, manage inventory and ensure service quality as part of a collaborative team.

The role requires 4+ years of automotive/electronics experience, high school diploma or GED, and proficiency with OE scan tools. Schedule is full-time, Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm, with pay range $60,000 to $95,000 annually and overtime eligibility.

Qualifications

• 4+ years relevant automotive/electronic technician experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Proficient with OE scan tools.
• Experience with wiring repair procedures.
• Knowledgeable in automotive electronics diagnostics.
• Computer proficiency for emails, spreadsheets and messaging.

Responsibilities

• Determines testing and analysis by communicating with shop representatives and reviews all estimates for repair
• Performs diagnostic testing, programming, ADAS calibrations and analysis
• Performs wiring repairs
• Advises shop of needed repairs
• Keeps inventory of stock, communicating with support staff for needed orders and verifying order receipts
• Writes, prints and emails service invoices
• Collects signature or payment for work performed
• Delivers completed invoices and payments to office in orderly manner
• Keeps shop equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshoots breakdowns; maintains supplies; performs preventative maintenance; advises management of repairs; keeps Google Drive up to date
• Collaborates with teammates according to PPT guidelines to schedule/complete jobs
• Other duties, as assigned
