Job summary

Protech Automotive Solutions is seeking a Calibration Technician Apprentice to learn advanced driver assistance system calibrations in a fast-paced shop environment. This paid apprenticeship provides hands-on training, mentorship, and path to a full calibration technician role across multiple manufacturers.

You will complete I-CAR and ASE trainings, gain experience with OE specifications, and grow through a seven-month program toward On-Site Calibration or a specialized technician position.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform physical activity including lifting up to 50 lbs and bending/kneeling
• Able to understand written and verbal instructions
• Able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Protech Automotive Solutions is hiring for a Protech Calibration Technician Apprentice.

In this paid apprenticeship you will be provided mentorship and training to learn how to perform a wide range of Advanced Driver Assistance System Calibrations by following OE specifications and repair standards. You will gain confidence as a calibration technician across a wide range of manufacturers. Initial training is provided by Protech as well as a robust virtual support team and continuing education on new vehicle technology. The goal will be to graduate from a Calibration Technician Apprentice to either a Protech Calibration Technician or On-Site Calibration by the end of the 7th month in this roll.

Requirements

• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• Have a valid driver’s license and be eligible for coverage under our insurance policy
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including background and MVR checks
• Nice to have, but not required: Previous automotive experience

Abilites/Skills/Knownledge

• Ability to do consistent physical activity – reach below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, and squatting, and lifting objects over 50 lbs.
• Be able to understand instructions – written and verbal
• Can prioritize competing tasks and adapt easily to a fast-paced environment
