Job summary

Protech Automotive Solutions on Long Island is hiring a Calibration Technician Apprentice to learn advanced driver assistance system calibrations by following OE specs and repair procedures. This paid apprenticeship includes hands-on training, mentorship, and a clear path to becoming a Protech Calibration Technician or On-Site Calibration within seven months.

You will work in a production shop, gain access to modern diagnostic equipment, and complete I-CAR and ASE certifications.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• Have a valid driver’s license and be eligible for coverage under our insurance policy.
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including background and MVR checks.
• Nice to have, but not required: Previous automotive experience.
• Ability to do consistent physical activity – reach below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, and squatting, and lifting objects over 50 lbs.
• Be able to understand instructions – written and verbal.
• Can prioritize competing tasks and adapt easily to a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Initial training is provided by Protech as well as a robust virtual support team and continuing education on new vehicle technology.
