Job summary

Protech Automotive Solutions is hiring a Calibration Technician Apprentice to learn how to perform Advanced Driver Assistance System calibrations by following OE specifications and repair standards in a fast-paced production shop.

You will receive mentorship, paid training and weekly pay, plus opportunities for advancement to a Protech Calibration Technician or On-Site Calibration role within seven months.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver's license and eligibility for insurance coverage.
• Must pass pre-employment screenings (background and MVR).
• Automotive experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Learn to perform ADAS calibrations following OE specifications.
• Assist in a production shop environment while developing calibration skills.

Protech Automotive Solutions is hiring for a Protech Calibration Technician Apprentice.

In this paid apprenticeship you will be provided mentorship and training to learn how to perform a wide range of Advanced Driver Assistance System Calibrations by following OE specifications and repair standards. You will gain confidence as a calibration technician across a wide range of manufacturers. Initial training is provided by Protech as well as a robust virtual support team and continuing education on new vehicle technology. The goal will be to graduate from a Calibration Technician Apprentice to either a Protech Calibration Technician or On-Site Calibration by the end of the 7th month in this role.

Requirements

• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• Have a valid driver’s license and be eligible for coverage under our insurance policy
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including background and MVR checks
• Nice to have, but not required: Previous automotive experience

Abilites/Skills/Knowledge

• Ability to do consistent physical activity – reach below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, and squatting, and lifting objects over 50 lbs.
• Be able to understand instructions – written and verbal
• Can prioritize competing tasks and adapt easily to a fast-paced environment
