Job summary

Protech Automotive Solutions and its affiliated brands in Maine are seeking a motivated individual for a paid Calibration Technician Apprentice program. You will receive mentorship to perform ADS calibrations following OE specifications and repair standards while gaining hands-on experience in a production shop.

The program aims to promote you to a Protech Calibration Technician or On-Site Calibrator by month seven, supported by a robust virtual support team and ongoing education in vehicle

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to be insured.
• Able to pass pre-employment background and MVR checks.
• Automotive experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Learn to perform Advanced Driver Assistance System calibrations per OE specs.
• Graduate to Protech Calibration Technician or On-Site Calibration by end of 7th month.
• Attend training and pursue I-CAR and ASE certifications.
• Work in a production shop with regular pay and potential overtime.

Protech Automotive Solutions is hiring for a Protech Calibration Technician Apprentice.

In this paid apprenticeship you will be provided mentorship and training to learn how to perform a wide range of Advanced Driver Assistance System Calibrations by following OE specifications and repair standards. You will gain confidence as a calibration technician across a wide range of manufacturers. Initial training is provided by Protech as well as a robust virtual support team and continuing education on new vehicle technology. The goal will be to graduate from a Calibration Technician Apprentice to either a Protech Calibration Technician or On-Site Calibration by the end of the 7th month in this role.

OUR MOBILE CALIBRATION TECHNICIANS APPRENTICES FOR THIS POSITION CAN MAKE UP TO:

• Up to $30.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• Have a valid driver’s license and be eligible for coverage under our insurance policy
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including background and MVR checks
• Nice to have, but not required: Previous automotive experience

Abilites/Skills/Knowledge

• Ability to do consistent physical activity – reach below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, and squatting, and lifting objects over 50 lbs.
• Be able to understand instructions – written and verbal
• Can prioritize competing tasks and adapt easily to a fast-paced environment
