Job summary

The Boyd Group is seeking skilled Automotive ADAS Technicians for our Oak Lawn, IL location. You will engage with customers, perform vehicle testing and repairs, generate invoices, manage inventory, and maintain service vehicles.

Strong diagnostic abilities and ADAS calibration skills are essential to succeed. We value hands-on technicians with experience in wiring repairs, A/C systems, and the use of OE scan tools.

Qualifications

• 4–10 years related service technician experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of wiring repair procedures.
• Ability to service A/C systems.
• Basic computer skills including email and spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Determines testing and analysis by reviewing estimates for repair and communicating with shop representatives.
• Performs diagnostic testing, programming, ADAS calibrations and analysis.
• Performs wiring repairs.
• Advises shop of needed repairs.
• Keeps inventory of stock and verifies orders with support staff.
• Writes, prints and emails service invoices.
• Collects signature or payment for work performed.
• Delivers completed invoices and payments to the office.
• Keeps shop equipment operating and maintains supplies.
• Collaborates with teammates to schedule/complete jobs.

Job Description:

MAS is seeking skilled Automotive ADAS Technicians to join our growing team! Our technicians are the face of the company. This role comprises customer interaction, vehicle testing and repair, invoice generation, inventory control and service vehicle maintenance.

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:

• Determines testing and analysis by communicating with shop representatives and reviews all estimates for repair
• Performs diagnostic testing, programming, ADAS calibrations and analysis
• Performs wiring repairs
• Advises shop of needed repairs
• Keeps inventory of stock, communicating with support staff for needed orders and verifying order receipts
• Writes, prints and emails service invoices
• Collects signature or payment for work performed
• Delivers completed invoices and payments to office in orderly manor
• Keeps shop equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshoots breakdowns; maintains supplies; performs preventative maintenance; advises management of repairs; keeps Google Drive up to date
• Collaborates with teammates according to PPT guidelines to schedule/complete jobs
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications Include But Are Not Limited To:

• Knowledge of OE scan tools
• Ability to learn new tools as needed
• Knowledge of wiring repair procedures
• Ability to service A/C systems
• Possesses diagnostic skills in the automotive trade
• Basic computer knowledge including using email, spreadsheet and messaging systems
• Willing and able to update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading technical publications and the like
• Must possess high school degree or GED equivalent
• 4-10 years related service technician experience required

Compensation Details:

Pay Range: $60,000 - $95,000 / Annually (hourly pay, eligible for overtime). Compensation is commensurate with skill, education and experience.
