Job summary

Caliber is seeking a Protech Calibration Technician Apprentice to join our paid apprenticeship program in California. You will be mentored to learn to perform Advanced Driver Assistance System calibrations per OE specs and repair standards, growing from apprentice to technician within seven months.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21+ years old.
• Valid driver’s license and be eligible for insurance.
• Pass pre-employment screenings including background and MVR checks.

Protech Automotive Solutions is hiring for a Protech Calibration Technician Apprentice.

In this paid apprenticeship you will be provided mentorship and training to learn how to perform a wide range of Advanced Driver Assistance System Calibrations by following OE specifications and repair standards. You will gain confidence as a calibration technician across a wide range of manufacturers. Initial training is provided by Protech as well as a robust virtual support team and continuing education on new vehicle technology. The goal will be to graduate from a Calibration Technician Apprentice to either a Protech Calibration Technician or On‑Site Calibration by the end of the 7th month in this roll.

OUR MOBILE CALIBRATION TECHNICIANS APPRENTICES FOR THIS POSITION CAN MAKE UP TO:

• Up to $23.00 per hour.

REQUIREMENTS

• Be at least 21+ years of age.


• Have a valid driver’s license and be eligible for coverage under our insurance policy


• Must be able to pass all pre‑employment screenings including background and MVR checks


• Nice to have, but not required: Previous automotive experience

ABILITES/SKILLS/KNOWNLEDGE

• Ability to do consistent physical activity – reach below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, and squatting, and lifting objects over 50 lbs.


• Be able to understand instructions – written and verbal


• Can prioritize competing tasks and adapt easily to a fast‑paced environment
