Job summary

Midas Auto Experts in New Jersey is seeking automotive technicians to diagnose and repair vehicles in a full-service shop. You will work independently at times and with peers, using ASE-guided skills and a strong safety mindset.

Responsibilities include diagnostics, brakes, heating/AC, steering, suspension, oil changes, and routine inspections while maintaining high productivity and quality service for both foreign and domestic vehicles.

Qualifications

• Must be able to repair vehicles independently, and collaborate with a team.
• Knowledge of brakes, exhaust, suspension, and engine diagnostics.
• Proven high personal productivity.
• Adherence to safety and environmental standards.
• Experience with lifts, tire changers, alignment machines and scan tools.
• HS diploma; technical degree a plus.
• State auto repair certifications preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and own tools preferred.
• Able to service both foreign and domestic vehicles.

• Experience using shop equipment such as lifts, tire changing equipment, alignment machines and scan tools
• High School Diploma or equivalent - technical degree a definite plus
• State-specific auto repair certifications
• Valid driver’s license
• Own tools/equipment (diagnostic scanner / tools preferred also)
• Able to service both foreign and domestic vehicles
