• Solid mechanical design fundamentals with ability to take concepts to detailed execution.
• Experience with automation tooling or custom machine design is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of an in-progress automation tooling design and drive it through completion.
• Apply engineering principles to finalize designs for manufacturability and project requirements.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to refine designs and address constraints.
• Develop detailed mechanical designs from concept through execution, including layouts and system integration.
• Create engineering drawings and print packages ready for manufacturing and assembly.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of design processes, tools, and documentation.
