Job summary

Acestack is seeking an Automation Tester for a full-time onsite role in Charlotte, NC. You will design, develop, maintain and analyze automated test scripts using Selenium and Java, with strong data mapping and banking domain knowledge.

You will collaborate with developers and stakeholders to create test plans, dashboards and reports. This senior position requires 10+ years of hands-on experience in automation testing and a pragmatic, methodical mindset.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in automation testing.
• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data mapping documents and business requirements to design comprehensive test plans and cases.
• Design, develop, maintain and analyze automated test scripts.
• Create automation deliverables including test plans, estimation, reports and dashboards.
• Use Selenium WebDriver and API testing or Selenium/Cucumber.
• Execute automation scripts and prepare execution reports and defect logs.
• Identify, log and track defects using Jira, HP ALM, or Octane.
• Communicate effectively with developers and stakeholders.
• Banking and capital markets knowledge preferred.

Roles & Responsibilities

10+ years of hands-on experience

Designing, developing, maintaining and analyzing automated test scripts

Creating project deliverables including automation test plans, automation estimation, test reports and automation dashboards

Using Selenium WEB and API testing or Selenium/Cucumber

Execute Automation scripts, preparing execution reports and defect logs.

Identify, log, and track data defects using tools like JIRA or HP ALM or Octane.

Excellent communication for collaborating with developers and stakeholders.

Domain: Banking knowledge, Capital markets knowledge preferred.
