Advanced Energy is seeking an Engineer II to join the Regression Test Engineering team in Ft. Collins, CO. You will design, develop, test, and implement automated firmware tests for high frequency and high voltage systems to ensure high quality standards.

You will work within an Agile software process, develop Python tests, and collaborate with engineers to optimize test coverage and RF performance. This role offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or similar required.
• Experience in automated test development with Python programming.
• Knowledge of DevOps tools such as containers, pipelines, databases.
• Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute regression and performance tests for RF-based plasma power systems.
• Support Test Engineering efforts in automation test processes and quality goals.
• Develop Python tests for automated DevOps environments.
• Create mathematical models and iterative algorithms for test coverage.
• Analyze waveform and signal data to validate system performance.
• Collaborate with design and systems engineers to troubleshoot RF issues.
