Centurion Consulting Group, LLC is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Test Engineer. The following outlines the responsibilities and qualifications for the role.

Responsibilities:

• Provide testing and analysis of complex systems to ensure compliance with requirements and optimal performance in production.
• Independently develop performance, functional, behavioral, API, and 508 test scripts using applicable tools, create test scenarios, and execute tests.
• Analyze test results, identify performance root causes, and write test reports recommending system improvements.
• Coordinate with other testers and developers to resolve test problems and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Attend requirements gathering meetings to understand business needs and functional/system requirements.
• Focus on end-to-end pipeline health and visibility into overall program quality.
• Produce detailed testing documents, including testing plans, test cases, test data, and test scripts for iterative automation.
• Develop testing status reporting tools and methods for stakeholders to quickly assess system status.
• Collaborate with development and analysts to ensure the implementation of business, functional, and system requirements.
• Lead and take ownership of automated testing processes and contribute to the design and maintenance of the test automation framework.
• Develop high-quality automation test engineering best practices, test strategy, and principles.
• Provide regular and open communication across the program and stakeholders for transparency and awareness of progress and impediments.
• Work across stakeholders and teams to continuously improve.
• Refine and stay current with emerging themes in Medicare policy and the provider community.
• Participate with management and cross-functional teams as a subject matter expert to develop and improve operating policies and procedures related to user workflows.
• Understand, visualize, and manage upstream/downstream dependencies.
• Drive delivery and continuous improvement using feedback and metrics to identify areas of opportunity.
• Mentor junior team members.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 years of testing experience (performance, functional, behavioral, API, and 508).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related field; or equivalent experience (8 years general IT experience with 4 years specialized experience).
• Experience with Ruby.
• 4+ years of test automation experience on data-centric applications and systems, including creating test data for healthcare datasets.
• Experience testing APIs and conducting User Acceptance Testing.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Proficiency with Atlassian Jira/Confluence.
• Strong analytical skills and innovative thinking.
• Experience working on large integration systems and executing large-scale projects.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust; residing in the United States.

Desired Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge and experience in software development in an agile environment.
• Experience with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and/or Medicaid CHIP data.

Citizenship: US Citizenship or authorization to work in the US without sponsorship required. Must be able to maintain a public trust.

Travel: Less than 10% (CONUS)
