Job summary

Amcor is seeking an automation technician to perform maintenance and troubleshooting on robotic and automated systems during 12-hour night shifts. The role emphasizes hands-on work, safety, and rapid response to equipment faults.

Starting pay is $29.75 per hour with a $1.00 night shift differential. The successful candidate will participate in training and progress in the automation/controls field within Amcor’s advanced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Able to read blueprints, electrical schematics, and automation diagrams.
• Good reading comprehension and math skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work around grease, oils and solvents.

Responsibilities

• Perform automation-related duties with minimum supervision.
• Conduct scheduled and preventative maintenance on robots, automated equipment, sensors, conveyors, and related control systems.
• Assist employees in all departments and facilities with troubleshooting automation issues.
• Maintain clean and orderly automation work areas and equipment.
