Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in engineering or robotics preferred.
• One year of related experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; PLC and HMI programming experience.

Responsibilities

• Examine work orders and converse with equipment operators to detect problems and identify root causes.
• Study blueprints and specifications to determine installation procedures.
• Set up and test industrial equipment to ensure proper function.
• Troubleshoot, repair, adjust, or calibrate industrial machines.
• Maintain equipment logs of performance, repairs, calibrations, or tests.
• Calibrate testing instruments and installed or repaired equipment to specifications.
• Coordinate with others installing or maintaining equipment or components.
• Advise management on customer satisfaction, product performance, or improvements.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections to detect issues early.
• Test faulty equipment to diagnose malfunctions using test equipment and software.
• Inspect components for defects such as loose connections or frayed wires.
• Design, program, and troubleshoot PLC, control systems, and relay circuits.
• Set up and troubleshoot robotic systems and teach pendant programming.
• Other duties as assigned.
