Qualifications

• 3–6 months experience in mechanical area.
• Experience with basic tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes minor mold, press, and support equipment repair including mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and/or electrical maintenance.
• Reads prints to make minor repairs on molding machines and associated sub-systems.
• Performs all mold change overs, and injection machine process changes.
• Provides basic technical support for troubleshooting equipment problems.
• Responsible for the waste removal for hazardous materials and tools.
• Verifies the correct set-up of molding machines and auxiliary equipment before processing.
• Works with hand tools, lockout/tagout, chemicals, etc., demonstrating proper safety precautions.
