Job summary

Baker Group in Arkansas is seeking a Full Time Technician to provide start-up, checkout and programming for building automation and control systems.

You will calibrate sensors, configure BACnet networking, upload and modify control software, and create graphics and dashboards while maintaining QA/QC checklists and commissioning logs.

Associates in electronics, technology, or automation or equivalent on-the-job experience is required; the role is on-site in Clarksville, AR.

Qualifications

• Associates in Electronics, Technology, or Automation related field or equivalent on the job experience
• Strong problem-solving and mechanical/electric troubleshooting abilities
• Familiarity with building automation principles and PLC/DDC controllers

Responsibilities

• Start-up of microprocessor based control components incl. DDC controllers, sensors, actuators; transducers
• Point-to-point checkout of wiring and components for grounding, polarity, communication and power
• Set up and calibration of sensors and output devices
• Uploading, downloading, and modification of control software and programs
• BACnet networking setup (IP addresses, subnet masks, MAC addresses, instance numbers)
• Identify and troubleshoot basic HVAC systems
• Map control points into supervisory controller and add alarms/history
• Map points into graphical front end and link to graphics
• Create Automation System graphics and dashboards
• Understand schedules and manage QA/QC checklists and commissioning logs
