Job summary

VanZandt Controls and Eagle Automation are hiring Automation Technicians to support the Permian Basin oil and gas market in West Texas and SE New Mexico. The role involves well-pad installations, commissioning, maintenance, and programming, with opportunities to grow within the company.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years' automation/ instrumentation experience and an associate degree in Industrial Electrical/Electronics or Process Controls.

Qualifications

At least 2 years' experience as automation, instrumentation, or process controls technician or field engineer.
A 2 year associate degree in Industrial Electrical/Electronics, Instrumentation, or Process Controls is preferred.

Responsibilities

Participate in well-pad installations, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Work on compressor stations, salt-water disposals (SWD's), plants, and programming.
Troubleshoot, repair, and installPlunger Lifts and control valves using Totalflow and Master Chief components.
Maintain existing communication systems including Totalflow G4 XRC/XFC, Ubiquity radios/cameras, and Red Lion HMIs.
