SUMMARY: The Automation Technician is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of automated systems within the poultry processing plant. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and optimizing various automation systems, including PLCs, HMI interfaces, and SCADA systems. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in industrial automation and possess a strong understanding of the unique challenges and requirements of the poultry processing industry.
This position will not have supervisory responsibility.
Required Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of 5 years of experience in automation and control systems within an industrial environment, preferably in the food processing or poultry industry. Strong knowledge of PLC programming (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens) and HMI/SCADA systems. Preferred Previous leadership/supervisory experience.
