Job summary

Intellectt Inc. is seeking an engineer to troubleshoot and optimize injection molding automation systems, including robots, conveyors, and vision sensors.

You will program and tune Sepro, Fanuc, Yushin, and Wittmann robots for handling, degating, and packaging, and refine robot paths to boost cycle time and quality. The role requires 2–5 years in automation, strong skills reading schematics, EOAT design, and maintenance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.E.) or equivalent technical education.
• 2–5 years of hands-on experience in injection molding automation, robotics, or industrial automation.
• Experience with robot programming, troubleshooting, and optimization.
• Strong understanding of PLCs, HMIs, industrial sensors, and automation systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Familiarity with EOAT (End-of-Arm Tooling) design, setup, and maintenance.
• Experience with injection molding robots such as Sepro, Fanuc, Yushin, or Wittmann is preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with injection molding automation systems, including robots, conveyors, sensors, and vision systems.
• Program, configure, and optimize industrial robots such as Sepro, Fanuc, Yushin, and Wittmann for part handling, degating, and packaging.
• Modify robot paths and sequences to improve cycle time, production efficiency, and product quality.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automation equipment, including replacing components and calibrating sensors and actuators.
• Support mold trials, new product launches, and automation setup activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve automation processes, equipment layouts, and production workflows.
• Maintain robot program backups, maintenance records, and equipment documentation.
• Ensure automation equipment operates safely and complies with applicable quality and manufacturing standards.

Pay Scale

• Anticipated hourly pay range: $41/hr on W2.
