Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking an Automation Technician to maintain and repair plant automation systems across the Americas Zone. You will diagnose issues with PLCs, VFDs, vision systems, and robotics, perform mechanical and electrical repairs, and ensure equipment uptime.

The role requires at least 3 years in industrial maintenance, ability to read schematics, CAD a plus, and willingness to travel to other sites. You’ll work autonomously yet be a strong team player in a safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years in a maintenance capacity in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical schematics, CAD experience a plus
• Flexibility to work an altered schedule as needed to accommodate business needs
• Team player and willing to work with minimal supervision
• Excellent problem-solving skills and communication skills
• Ability to travel to other sites as needed for support or training

Responsibilities

• The Automation Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing plant automation systems and equipment across the Americas Zone.
• Troubleshoot and repair PLCs, VFDs, robotics, vision systems, and related automation components.
• Perform mechanical repairs, equipment installation, and preventive maintenance according to codes and diagrams.
• Document maintenance work orders with labor hours, parts used, and task details in the CMMS.
• Support continuous improvement of PM programs to maximize uptime and productivity.

Job description

The Automation Technician is responsible for the equipment and systems of the plant operations in the America's Zone.
