Job summary

Zenith Home Corp. is seeking an Automation Technician for the Wood Processing Department to maintain and repair automated systems, both mechanically and electrically.

You will troubleshoot equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and document work in a maintenance program. The ideal candidate has 3 years’ experience in automation manufacturing, hands-on knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience in an automation manufacturing environment.
• 3 years’ experience in mechanical and electrical.
• Ability to read electrical schematics proficiently.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have the ability to read and write in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance tasks.
• Troubleshooting and repair of machinery.
• Document all work on a PC based Maintenance Program.
• Identify opportunities for equipment performance improvements.

Job description

The position of Automation Technician is responsible for maintenance and repair in the Wood Processing Department of Zenith Home Corp. This position will include all troubleshooting and repairs, Mechanical and Electrical. This position will also be responsible for the preventive Maintenance of the equipment to ensure proper running conditions.

Below is a list of the critical tasks of the position

• Perform preventive Maintenance tasks
• Troubleshooting and repair of machinery
• Document all work on a PC based Maintenance Program
• Identify opportunities for equipment performance improvements
• Work with department supervision to maximize uptime and efficiencies of the Department

The ideal candidate for this position will exhibit the following attributes

• 3 years’ experience in an automation manufacturing environment
• 3 years’ experience mechanical and electrical
• Ability to read electrical schematics proficiently
• Work with minimal supervision
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Must have the ability to read and write in English
