Job Overview

Position Details

This position is for the 2nd Shift (Monday-Thursday, 1:30 PM – 12:00 AM). The candidate will work in warehouse areas, refrigerated zones, and freezers at -30°C or colder. Responsibilities include handling boxes and pallets manually and with automated equipment, following departmental procedures, and managing plasma logistics using systems like SAP, SGP, and Savanna WMS. The role involves operating automated systems, troubleshooting faults, managing inventory, and ensuring GMP compliance.

Responsibilities
  1. Operate automated systems via Human Machine Interface (HMI).
  2. Learn and operate inventory control systems such as SAP, SGP, and Savanna.
  3. Identify and classify plasma types and intermediates for storage.
  4. Manage plasma inventory using WMS for storage and retrieval.
  5. Perform under high-pressure situations during equipment maintenance.
  6. Troubleshoot and resolve faults in automated systems.
  7. Interpret freezer work orders from Plasma Management System.
  8. Communicate equipment issues to Facility Maintenance.
  9. Utilize Radio Frequency Terminal scanners.
  10. Maintain CGMP compliance and cleanliness.
  11. Follow written procedures and communicate effectively with management.
  12. Assist in problem resolution and resource planning.
  13. Coordinate with Quality, Plasma Operations, and Logistics teams.
  14. Operate material handling equipment safely.
Minimum Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • At least one year of experience in manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or FDA-licensed industry.
  • Experience with cGMPs and industry standards.
  • Ability to read and follow SOPs.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a warehouse environment.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of cGMP preferred.
  • Warehouse and forklift experience desirable.
Occupational Demands
  • Frequent lifting of 25-50 lbs.
  • Work in extreme temperatures (-30°C or colder).
  • Climb a 90-foot ladder in -35°C environment.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work with minimal supervision following detailed instructions.
