Job summary

Staff Financial Group seeks a Senior Controls & Automation Engineer to architect and implement sophisticated manufacturing automation. You will lead major automation initiatives, establish standards, and mentor engineers and technicians to improve reliability and safety across the plant.

The role requires deep expertise in PLC programming (Allen-Bradley and Mitsubishi), strong leadership, and hands-on collaboration with IT, MES, and maintenance teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

10+ years in controls or automation engineering.
Bachelor's degree in related field; alternative credentials considered.
Proven experience leading complex automation projects.
Experience with Allen-Bradley and Mitsubishi PLCs.

Responsibilities

Architect, develop, and optimize PLC programs using Allen-Bradley and Mitsubishi.
Lead major automation initiatives from scope to completion.
Establish controls standards and best practices.
Collaborate with IT and MES for system integration.
Mentor engineers and technicians in advanced troubleshooting.
Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA, IEC standards.
