Job summary

Sunbird Software in Sioux Falls, SD is seeking an Integration Engineer focused on automation via REST API integrations. You will design, implement, and validate data flows between Sunbird and customer systems.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• One year of experience providing customer support in a technical environment.

• Working knowledge of SQL queries and relational databases.
• Working knowledge of JSON data structures and data exchange.

Responsibilities

• Integrate customers’ software with Sunbird via REST APIs.
• Integrate customers’ facility management devices with Sunbird DCIM software.
• Develop, maintain, analyze, and debug Python code for integrations and data processing.
• Develop integrations using Python libraries such as Requests and Pandas.
• Analyze, scrub, transform, and migrate customer data into DCIM systems.
• Process and correct raw customer data for migration, integration, and analysis.
• Troubleshoot API, data, and integration issues during implementation.
• Maintain integration and automation code using GitHub.
• Work with REST API documentation, including Swagger/OpenAPI specs.
• Use SQL to retrieve, analyze, validate, and troubleshoot data.
• Use Linux/Windows command-line tools to support integration activities

Position Summary

Automation via Integration, this role will understand the Restful API integration between Sunbird Software and other vendors to integrate data between those systems

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:

• Integrate customers’ existing software with Sunbird software through REST APIs
• Integrate customers’ facility management devices, including generators, air conditioners, and other data center infrastructure, with Sunbird DCIM software
• Develop, maintain, analyze, and debug Python code used for integrations, automation, and data processing
• Develop integrations using Python libraries such as Requests, Pandas, and other API and data-processing libraries
• Analyze, scrub, transform, and migrate customer data from external sources into DCIM systems
• Process and correct raw customer data for migration, integration, and analysis
• Troubleshoot API, data, and integration issues throughout implementation
• Maintain integration and automation code using GitHub source control
• Work with REST API documentation, including Swagger/OpenAPI specifications
• Use SQL to retrieve, analyze, validate, and troubleshoot customer and system data
• Use command-line tools in Linux and Windows environments to support integration and troubleshooting activities
