Job summary

fab2 in Austin, TX is seeking an Automation Software Engineering Intern for the summer. You'll join an integrated engineering team building semiconductor fabrication equipment, gaining ownership of mission-critical work and exposure to challenging robotics problems.

Applicants should be pursuing a Bachelor's in CS/EE and have Python/C/C++, with robotics software experience. A strong portfolio (GitHub) showing your builds is required, and interns are paid hourly with compensation

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or similar field.
• Proficiency in Python/C/C++.
• Demonstrated experience in robotics software.

Responsibilities

• Develop real-time applications in Linux and Rust for controlling semiconductor fabrication equipment.
• Design algorithms and simulations for robotic control systems.
