US Tech Solutions seeks an experienced software professional to develop and support software for automated laboratory and industrial systems. You will design, implement, and maintain applications that integrate instrumentation, machine vision, data acquisition, and enterprise data systems.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in automation software, strong skills in C#, MATLAB, Python, and C++, and experience with hardware integration, robotics, and industrial controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s or Ph.D. in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of experience developing software for automation, industrial, scientific, or engineering systems.
• Strong programming skills in C#, MATLAB, Python, C++, or similar object-oriented languages.
• Experience integrating software with hardware systems, instrumentation, sensors, machine vision, robotics, or industrial control platforms.
• Knowledge of industrial automation architectures, control systems, and communication protocols.
• Experience with source control, software testing, and modern software engineering practices.
• Demonstrated analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software for engineering and laboratory systems.
• Develop applications using C#, MATLAB, Python, C++, or related technologies.
• Integrate software with instrumentation, sensors, cameras, robotics, and motion control platforms.
• Develop software interfaces between automation systems, databases, cloud platforms, and enterprise applications.
• Support machine vision and image-processing software applications.
• Collaborate with scientists, engineers, and technicians to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Troubleshoot software and system integration issues.
• Develop technical documentation, software specifications, and user guides.
• Follow software engineering best practices including version control, testing, cybersecurity, and code reviews.
