Job summary

LUFKIN US Acquisitions Company LLC is seeking a Senior Operations Leader to manage the Automation operations team in Texas. You will drive safety, efficiency, and client satisfaction while overseeing shop, yard, and warehouse activities and ensuring on-time service delivery.

The role requires 8+ years in electrical automation, strong leadership, and a proven track record in P&L management, with experience in rod lift systems, SCADA, and instrumentation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of electrical automation experience.
  • Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record.
  • Experience in operations coordination, sales integration, and financial performance management.
  • Knowledge of rod lift systems, SCADA, radio/telemetry, and Modbus.
  • Leadership and management experience in automation, controls, or instrumentation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Automation operations team, including direct and indirect reports.
  • Foster a culture of safety and compliance through strong HSE leadership.
  • Ensure client satisfaction through efficient service delivery and operational excellence.
  • Oversee shop, yard, and warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material management.
  • Manage financial performance, including budgets, margins, cost control, and full P&L responsibility.
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives, streamlining processes and improving efficiency.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to align operations with market demand and drive business growth.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Develop leadership capabilities within the team through coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluations.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university, with 8+ years of experience in electrical automation or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.
  • Experience in operations coordination, sales integration, and financial performance management.
  • In-depth knowledge of rod lift systems, SCADA systems, radio/telemetry, and Modbus communication protocols.
  • Proven leadership and management experience in automation, controls, or instrumentation.
